I had acquired a wealth of knowledge and became a subject matter expert in my role at the General Bank of Canada (GBC) and felt it was the perfect time to seek a new opportunity to enhance my career. In my first year with First Canadian Financial Group (FCFG), I've had the pleasure of working closely with the Alberta field team and have received fantastic support from various head office departments. I have a background in mechanics and body shop work, which I can tailor to most complexities of the claims received. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I have gained a keen understanding of the needs of this type of business and it allows me to come up with solutions to address them. I chose to work with First Canadian Financial Group (FCFG) as they take a very hands-on approach, and, with my knowledge, I feel that I can contribute to the company and achieve goals as everyone works together. I have always wanted to try new things and with First Canadian Financial Group (FCFG) I am learning new values and work ethics to strengthen what I have learned along the way. I have been with the company for almost 4 years now and it has taught me that we are all on the same team and that there is always someone to lend a helping hand.

When I joined this company, I brought with me a background in the medical field, but absolutely no prior experience in the insurance industry. Green as I was, each day I endeavoured to learn every aspect of my job description and strove to achieve success in my new career path. To ensure I was successful, I was provided full support by my management team, and, 25 years later, I continue to feel supported. Another key to my success is that, from the bottom of my heart, I believe in the products we offer, I am extremely proud of our integrity, our continued growth, and how we strive for the highest level of customer service. Little did I know, the career choice I made in 1998 would lead me to a lifelong career. I continue to enjoy coming to work each day and I remain proud to contribute to the success of this organization.

I started with FCFG in 2009 as an Account Manager. Working alongside all Account Managers, Territory Development Managers, and other Regional Managers across the country was always a goal of mine. In 2019, I was given the chance to take on the role of Provincial Manager. I have always felt that my hard work was recognized company wide and have felt part of a very cohesive team. I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of great people along the way that supported my growth and helped me achieve my goals.
